Fishing classes held each month at Stutzman's

A fly tying class will be held from 6 to 6:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at Stutzman's Stove Shop in Lebanon.

Instructors will be on hand to guide the class and equipment and materials are available.

Following the class, there will be a fly tying/fishing class from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Everyone is invited.

Knights add Texas Tech players

The Corvallis Knights announced the signings of Texas Tech sophomore third baseman Justin Berry and freshman catcher Bo Altobelli.

Berry started last spring for the Red Raiders and hit .292 with nine doubles, four home runs and 26 RBIs.

Sign up for baseball camp in Redmond

The Yard Baseball Academy and Oregon Select Baseball's second annual Central Oregon Baseball Camp for ages 8-18 will be held Nov. 21-22 in Redmond.

The camp is geared toward helping ballplayers improve their skills and prepare for the upcoming season.

The camp consists of one hitting session and one defense and pitching session.

Cost is $125 per session or $199 for both session.

Current professional and former college players will provide instruction.
