Lebanon High School graduate and current Southern Virginia University volleyball player Ali Krebs had a busy weekend.
On Oct. 6, Krebs, who graduated from LHS in 2007, was named a United States Collegiate Athletic Association First Team All-American and was named to the USCAA All-Academic Team.
She received her awards with teammate and roommate Rikka Larson, who was named a USCAA Honorable Mention All-American.
In order to be named to the All-Academic Team, student athletes must compete full time in a varsity sport and maintain a grade-point-average of 3.5 or better.
Krebs is a junior setter for the Knights volleyball team.
Southern Virginia defeated UC Clermont in straight sets on Nov. 7 to earn third place at the USCAA Volleyball National Championships in Louisville, Ky.
SVU defeated Penn State Fayette and Rochester College on Nov. 5 before falling to Florida College on Nov. 6.
Krebs was a standout athlete at LHS during her career and also was a Strawberry Princess.
