The East Linn volleyball team fell 3-1 to Salem Academy on Nov. 1 in the first round of the Tri-River Conference playoffs.

The Eagles won the first game and then dropped the next three.

Games scores were 20-25, 25-11, 25-9, 25-18.

East Linn played again on Tuesday against Western Mennonite at Blanchet in a loser-out/winner-to-state game. Results weren't available by press time.

The Eagles beat Western Mennonite in both matches they played this season. Both matches went to five sets.

Following the end of the regular season, TRC teams were announced.

Maurisa Bates was named to the first team, Shea Rediger earned second-team honors and Brianna Ellis and Katie Latimer were both named to the third team.
