Linn-Benton Community College will hold four baseball Skills and Drills clinics through the month of February for baseball players ages six through 16. Clinics will be held at the LBCC Activities Center gym, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW, Albany.
Each session will feature one hour of skill development drills and one hour of hitting drills with instruction by LBCC coaches. Different skills will be emphasized at each session. Participants can choose to attend one or all four sessions.
Clinics will be held on Sundays from 1 to 3 p.m. Session I meets Feb. 3 and will focus on throwing and catching. Session II meets Feb. 10 and will focus on fielding ground balls and throwing and catching. Session III meets Feb. 17 and will focus on infield play and double play. Session IV meets Feb. 24 and will focus on pitching, catching, infield play and run downs.
The cost for each session is $20. Participants should bring their own glove, bat, helmet and tennis shoes. Preregistration is preferred, but not required. Drop-ins are welcome.

LBCC's annual Baseball Hitting Camp will be held on Saturday, Feb. 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the LBCC Activities Center gym, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW, Albany.
This clinic is for ballplayers ages eight to 18. Camp includes three hours of instruction by LBCC coaches, a camp T-shirt and refreshments. Participants are grouped by age and experience, and each should bring their own bat, helmet and tennis shoes.
Cost for the camp is $40. Preregistration is preferred by Jan. 31. Drop-ins are welcome.
