The 2008 Bicycle Safety Rodeo, sponsored by the Albany Police Department, Kiwanis Club of Albany, Joe's Sports Outdoor and More and the Alliance For Community Traffic Safety, is scheduled for Saturday, June 14, in the Joe's parking lot, 2000 14th Avenue SE, Albany, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Activities include bicycle helmet inspections, bicycle skills testing, bicycle safety inspections and bicycle identification engraving. Rollerblades are welcome; helmets for all participants are required.
