The Boys & Girls Club is seeking volunteer coaches for its middle school basketball program.

A coach for the 11-year-old boys' traveling team is needed, as well as others.

Sign-ups and tryouts for the basketball teams have begun. Tryouts for the "A" team, a traveling tournament team, will be held as follows:

Oct. 29:

Boys aged 11 -- 5 to 6 p.m.; boys aged 12 -- 6 to 7 p.m.; boys aged 13 -- 7 to 8 p.m.

Oct. 30:

Girls aged 11 -- 4 to 5 p.m.; girls aged 12 -- 5 to 6 p.m.; girls aged 13 -- 6 to 7 p.m.

Nov. 1:

Girls aged 11 -- 8 to 8:45 a.m.; girls aged 12 -- 8:45 to 9:30 a.m.; girls aged 13 -- 9:30 to 10:15 a.m.

Boys aged 11 -- 11 to 11:45 a.m.; boys aged 12 -- 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; boys aged 13 -- 12:30 to 1:15 p.m.
