The Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission recently approved a new sport fishing rule that will allow anglers to fish with two poles in most inland lakes, ponds and reservoirs, beginning Jan. 1, 2010.

The $16.50 endorsement may be purchased by any angler with a resident or nonresident fishing license and will apply to all lakes, ponds and reservoirs in Oregon, except reservoirs on the Columbia River and the Snake River below Hells Canyon Dam.

Anglers should consult the 2010 Sport Fishing Regulations, which will be available in November, for additional changes from the 2009 regulations.
