To the Editor:

Hello Lebanon. I'm one of the Astoria clowns and want to thank you for all your hospitality, smiles, and thank you for coming [to the Strawberry Festival parade].

This was our second year doing this parade, and we enjoy it more than you can imagine.

I'd also like to thank the person who stole my motorized scooter at the motel. It was given to me from my son after he could no longer use it after he broke his neck in a car accident.

I've done probably 100 parades not having to worry about someone stealing it. Enjoy it who ever you are but guess what - I'll be back next year to have fun and maybe make someone smile.
