To the editor:

The Girls Scouts of Lebanon are planning their Day Camp for July 1 to 11. We are currently looking for contributions to provide scholarships for girls to be able to attend camp.

The Lebanon community has been very gracious to us in the past and we would like this tradition to continue. We hope to turn no girls away because they are unable to afford camp. Girls Scouts of Lebanon have a large number of girls who need scholarships and it would be unfortunate for them to miss out on such a wonderful experience in Girl Scouting.

The cost for one Girl Scout for the week is $50; however, any amount would be helpful.

Our camp theme this year is Pioneer Days. We will be learning about the history of Lebanon. You would be more than welcome to come out to our camp and see how your contribution has made a girl's dream come true.

If you would like to also volunteer at our camp, we would love to have you. Please let us know in advance so we can match your interest with activities.
