To the editor:

The Dan Eckhold family wishes to thank the community for their kind response to the Lacomb Baptist Church benefit dinner and raffle. Your generosity was overwhelming and deeply appreciated.

We are especially grateful to those who gave so much of their time and energy to organizing, cooking, serving and cleaning up after the dinner. Thank you.

Lastly, a big thank you to Lacomb Baptist Church, Providence Vineyard Church, Lacomb Grange, Lacomb Livestock 4-H group, Korner Kitchen, Buffalo Shoe Repair, Volts Nursery, Bob's Blueberries, FAST - Fitness and Strength Training, Albany Faith Lutheran Church, Les Kelley, Townsends, Griffiths, Nancy's Floral, Scio Feed Store, Forster & Co. Sweeping, LLC and all the others that donated goods and raffle items.

Dan is continuing to heal and make progress in his therapy. If you would like to receive future updates on Dan's condition, please call Sheila Forster at 541-258-5497 with your name and mailing address.

Once again, thank you so very much.
