Coastal Living Magazine has named the top 10 romantic Island Inns in the world and MacKaye Harbor Inn, Lopez Is., Wash., is on the list.
One hour by ferry from Anacortes, Wash., MacKaye Harbor Inn Bed and Breakfast, a huge restored farmhouse, is the only beach-front resort on Lopez Island.
Mountain bikes and kayaks are available, and gourmet breakfasts are served by the owners of 27 years, Robin and Mike Bergstrom. Robin and Mike graduated from Lebanon High School in 1965 and 1966 and Robin's parents, Maryland and Don Johnson, are Lebanon residents.
