To the editor:

Watching the news over the last eight years has been like watching some kind of Kevin Bacon "Six Degrees of Separation" game being played on President Bush. Anytime some tragedy befell us we could count on some ridiculous twisted connection that would blame it on him.

Their first attempt to blame hurricane Katrina on the President was laughable, saying, "See he should have signed the Kyoto Accord" in reference to its affects on "global warming." As the worst natural disaster in American history unfolded before our eyes liberals were blind to any discussion of anything other than how to blame it on Bush. In fact, over the last two years Democrats, not Republicans, have run the House and the Senate, considering nothing of pending financial troubles, instead waiting for the next problem to pass off on Bush.

The main defense of the left and President Obama himself on the unprecedented deficit spending is that: Number 1) "It's Bush's fault" and, Number 2) "Bush started the deficit spending." It's almost like a school child yelling at us "you gave him a trillion dollars; I want my trillion dollars too!" The only brilliance of this man seems to be his ability to sell an idea, like;spending got us into this and spending will get us out.

I don't believe the American people will tolerate this much longer. I would suggest that President Obama stop with the sports picks and finish the picks for his administration along with perhaps another pick for Secretary of Treasury. And please stop spending money we don't have!
