Monday, Aug. 17

2:36 a.m. A 26-year-old man was trespassed from 7-Eleven after he was in the store intoxicated and annoyed customers.

4:45 a.m. Shop 'N Kart reported a 50-year-old man in and out of the store banging on windows and doors.

8:10 a.m. Two vehicles and a house in the 500 block of E. Elmore St. were egged during the night. Two freestyle BMX bicycles were stolen from the same address during the weekend.

8:11 a.m. A resident noticed new tagging in her neighborhood on E. Rose, Hiatt, E. Ash and Cleveland sts. Damage to one fence: $100.

10:04 a.m. A vehicle in the 300 block of S. Grove St. was broken into and a GPS case stolen. Loss: $10.

10:05 a.m. A hit-and-run accident occurred in the Walmart parking lot. Damage less than $1,500.

11:34 a.m. Over the weekend someone spray-painted graffiti on the back of the former Roth's building at The Plaza.

12:54 p.m. Vehicles were egged during the night in the 1000 block of Hiatt St.

1:08 p.m. A vehicle was rear-ended by another vehicle at S. Santiam Hwy. and Walker Rd.

2:47 p.m. An MP3 player was missing from a vehicle that had been towed on Aug. 11.

3:45 p.m. A vehicle was taken from near S. 11th and W. Sherman sts.

6:20 p.m. Someone attempted to gain entry through the back door of the Sears store during the night. Damage: $650.

8 p.m. People were reported to be living along the river near Riverview School. Police told one person to be gone by 8 a.m. in the morning.

9:01 p.m. A pickup was tagged with a Sharpie during the night in the 900 block of Hiatt St.

10:49 p.m. A pipe used for marijuana and a baggie with a dark powder was found in the 900 block of Main St.

11:52 p.m. A 28-year-old man was charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana near E Isabella and Hiatt sts.

Tuesday, Aug. 18

2:24 p.m. A resident found a bag of dog poop in her mailbox in the 1700 block of Franklin St.

2:48 p.m. A 37-year-old woman was arrested on a warrant failure to appear/ contempt of court.

3:31 p.m. Drivers exchanged information following a minor two-vehicle accident in the Walmart parking lot.

7:34 p.m. A tire went flat, possibly because the valve stem was slashed. The incident occurred in the 0-99 block of Market St. Damage: $50.

8:15 p.m. A 26-year-old male was charged with trespass in Ralston Park because he had previously been issued an exclusion notice. He was taken to the hospital for detox because he was unable to stand and had minor injuries from falls.

10:09 p.m. Police assisted medics by making entry to a building in the 200 block of N. Main St. The man in the building was bleeding and had called medics.

Wednesday, Aug. 19

6:40 a.m. A man reported his dog found skull fragments in his yard yesterday in the 600 block of S. 2nd St. An officer took the remains to Huston Jost Funeral Home.

8:24 a.m. A parted-out Redline BMX bicycle was found in the 1000 block of S. 2nd St.

9:29 a.m. A dog has been locked in a car at the pool parking lot for at least an hour. The owner was counseled.

2:15 p.m. A passerby reported that three small children were left unattended in a car at the Safeway parking lot.

7:50 p.m. A man reported that two juvenile males took two bags of cans from his front porch. The man decided not to pursue charges and the juveniles were counseled.

11:04 p.m. An iPod was lost at Walmart.

Thursday, Aug. 20

12:05 a.m. Gunshots heard in the 700 block of Binshadler St. were also heard on Mt. River Dr.

1:44 a.m. A 17-year-old male and 14-year-old male were transported home and referred to the Linn County Juvenile Dept. for curfew violation after police responded to a call about eight males making noise and running on the top of vehicles in the 100 block of E. Elmore St. Two other males, ages 15 and 18, also were taken home.

7:36 a.m. A male reported that an underage female is sending nude photos to his cell phone.

10:08 a.m. Drivers exchanged information following a minor accident between a semi-truck and a Toyota pickup in a parking lot in the 200 block of Hansard Ave.

10:11 a.m. A home for sale sign and brochures were taken from the 700 block of Garvord St.

10:39 a.m. A 53-year-old man was arrested on multiple warrants, one for failure to comply in a DUII case.

11:20 a.m. A 28-year-old man was arrested on a warrant for contempt.

1:16 p.m. A 48-year-old woman was arrested on a warrant for contempt when she went to the Lebanon Justice Center to report vandalism in the 1800 block of Carroll St.

2:43 p.m. Gas was siphoned from a car in the 700 block of S. Main St.

Friday, Aug. 21

7:06 a.m. A vehicle in the 200 block of E. Carolina St. was spraypainted during the night. Damage: $500.

10:24 a.m. An 87-year-old man was cited for hit and run in connection with an accident in the 600 block of S. Main St.

12:15 p.m. A 50-year-old man was charged with trespass after he ran through a back yard and knocked things over.

4:36 p.m. A vehicle left a service station in the 2100 block of S. Santiam Hwy. without paying for gas.

4:38 p.m. A 42-year-old man was charged with resisting arrest when police took him into custody on a warrant for probation violation and possession of methamphetamine.

6:20 p.m. An 18-year-old man was arrested on a warrant for contempt of court.

8:27 p.m. A boy's bicycle was damaged in a conflict with other kids near the 700 block of S. 10th St. Loss: $30.

9:08 p.m. A 9-year-old male was attacked by a dog in the 200 block of S. 5th St.

10:09 p.m. A 34-year-old man was cited and released on a charge of fourth-degree assault in connection with a fight at Wynn Mill Park. Medics were requested for a 33-year-old man with facial pain.

Saturday, Aug. 22

7:45 a.m. Windows of a house in the 1000 block of Hiatt St. were written on with a marker during the night. Damage: $50.

10:35 a.m. Several vehicles near the 1100 block of Hiatt St. were marked with graffiti with black marker and red spray paint.

1:42 p.m. A 47-year-old woman was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device in connection with a two-vehicle non-injury accident at E. Grant and S. Williams sts.

1:52 p.m. A resident in the 0-99 block of N. 7th St. reported that someone is climbing on the home, leaving grease marks, and kicking on the doors, walls and screens.

2:13 p.m. A child fell from an open, unscreened second-story window onto concrete in the 300 block of E. Milton St. and was taken to the hospital by his or her parents. Officers stood by the helipad at the hospital for a Reach landing.

4:30 p.m. A 38-year-old man was charged with two counts of second-degree trespass and one count of second-degree criminal mischief when he ran from police to avoid being arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in a DUII case.

7:39 p.m. A 44-year-old woman was arrested for third-degree theft for alleged shoplifting from Walmart.

8:53 p.m. A 50-year-old man destroyed a "sidewalk closed" sign at Main and Milton sts. He also was trespassed from 7-Eleven.

10:48 p.m. A 50-year-old man was charged with disorderly conduct for slamming shopping carts into light poles and other objects in the 2000 block of S. Santiam Hwy.

Sunday, Aug. 23

8:49 a.m. A white picket fence in the 300 block of E. Vine St. was tagged.

1:57 p.m. A vehicle in the 200 block of Pine St. was entered during the night and a CD player taken from it. Loss: $200.

2:31 p.m. A 21-year-old man was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic) in the 200 block of S. Main St.

5:57 p.m. A red Honda Civic was hit during the night while parked on Wagon Wheel Dr. Damage: $1,000.

9:35 p.m. An intoxicated man was arrested for criminal trespass at Shop 'N Kart for allegedly refusing to leave and threatening employees. He was taken to the emergency room before being booked at the police station.

10:05 p.m. A 27-year-old woman was arrested for DUII after her vehicle landed in the ditch near Stoltz Hill and Walker rds.
