Monday, Dec. 15

8:45 a.m. Male driving a brown or gold Toyota pickup hit a mailbox in the 700 block of W. Grant St. and left the area. Damage: $200-$300.

1:29 p.m. An unoccupied red Suzuki Sidekick, parked sideways in the middle of the 100 block of Wheeler St., was removed from the roadway.

5:09 p.m. A 19-year-old man was taken into custody on a warrent for contempt.

6 p.m. A 19-year-old man was cited for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption.

6:03 p.m. Two 22-year-old men were taken into custody on warrants, one for failure to comply in a case of harassment and the other for failure to appear in a case of second-degree sex abuse.

6:22 p.m. A 31-year-old man was charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and possession of methamphetamine.

10:59 p.m. A 24-year-old woman was detained for detox.

Tuesday, Dec. 16

1:44 a.m. A 25-year-old woman was taken into custody for DUII.

2:48 a.m. A black 1997 Saturn SL was stolen from the 600 block of Main St.

9:39 a.m. A 52-year-old woman was taken into custody for detox after she was reported to be chasing cars on Main Street and, about 20 minutes later, screaming and yelling in the 0-99 block of E. Grant St.

2:29 p.m. A 37-year-old woman was arrested on a warrant for failure to comply in a case of driving while suspended misdemeanor and hit and run.

2:29 p.m. A 45-year-old man was charged with hit and run.

8:20 p.m. Two females threw eggs at a 20-year-old woman in the 100 block of E. Elmore St., then hit her in the face and took her purse.

8:25 p.m. A 23-year-old man was taken into custody on two counts of attempt to elude and one count of reckless driving following a car chase in the vicinity of Franklin, Harden and Milton sts. The pursuit began when an officer attempted to pull the driver over for having no tail lights and he took off.

11:17 p.m. A 31-year-old man was arrested on warrants for failure to appear in a harassment case and failure to appear in a case of fourth-degree assault.

Wednesday, Dec. 17

9:16 a.m. A mini pony was wandering around the neighbohood of Larkspur and Columbine sts. The owner retrieved it.

11:55 a.m. A purple book bag was taken from the Lebanon Community Pool.

2:56 p.m. Tools were taken from an unlocked garage in the 1600 block of Franklin St. Loss: $700.

3:10 p.m. A 24-year-old man was arrested on warrants for failure to comply in a providing false information case and driving while suspended.

5:53 p.m. A 17-year-old male was reported to have assaulted his mother in the 200 block of S. 2nd St. He was referred for harassment.

6:38 p.m. A 49-year-old man was taken into custody for detox after he was reported wandering through a yard in the 900 block of Hiatt St.

11:49 p.m. A 16-year-old female, 14-year-old male and 16-year-old male were charged with minor in possession of alcohol by consumption. The female and 14-year-old male also were charged with minor in possession of tobacco. The males were transported to the Lebanon hospital for medical clearance, then to the Linn County Juvenile Detention Center. The female was released to her father.

Thursday, Dec. 18

3:56 a.m. A 28-year-old man who ran from an officer was arrested on warrants from four Oregon and California jurisdictions on failure to appear, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, burglary and failure to appear in a burglary case.

10:53 a.m. Garbage including mail was found in the Albany-Lebanon Canal near Industrial Way.

12:17 p.m. A 15-year-old female was charged with second-degree theft after attempting to pawn a stolen camera in the 3000 block of S. Santiam Hwy.

12:45 p.m. Two speakers were taken from a locked car in the 800 block of Park St.

2:01 p.m. Three juveniles reported to be in a vacant house in the 1700 block of 9th St. were sent back to school. Officers contacted their parents.

2:38 p.m. A couple received a recorded phone call from a female from Orlando, Fla., threatening to repossess their car if they didn't send a payment. They called the number back and discovered it was disconnected.

4:09 p.m. A 28-year-old man was charged on warrants for first-degree burglary, interfering with a police report, fourth degree assault, menacing and contempt. He also was cited for carrying a concealed weapon.

4:31 p.m. a 15-year-old male was reported as a runaway.

5:10 p.m. A vehicle in the Lebanon Plaza parking lot was hit by a blue Suburban that left the scene.

5:29 p.m. A woman walking around Dollar Tree putting items in her purse dropped it, along with her sweatshirt, and ran from the store when confronted. Her belongings were taken to the police department.

7:51 p.m. A 49-year-old man was seen hitting a car in the Lebanon Plaza parking lot as it drove past him and running into traffic and yelling.

9:06 p.m. A 49-year-old man was charged with harassment and taken to Lebanon Hospital on a police officer hold.

9:38 p.m. A 23-year-old woman was arrested on a warrant for failure to comply in a phone harassment case. She owes 8 days jail time.

Friday, Dec. 19

12:44 a.m. Two men, ages 21 and 23, were charged with second-degree burglary at a business in the 1100 block of Airway Rd.

2:05 a.m. A 14-year-old male was reported as a runaway.

7:26 a.m. Several mailboxes were knocked off their stands in the 37600 block of River Rd.

8:34 a.m. CDs and change were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 1500 block of Park Dr. Loss: $300.

8:46 a.m. A 17-year-old female was reported as a runaway.

10:14 a.m. A non-injury two-vehicle accident occurred in the 2600 block of S. Santiam Hwy.

6:59 p.m. A non-injury two-vehicle accident occurred at S. Main and Wheeler sts.

7:27 p.m. A 40-year-old man who was reported stumbling out into traffic on Walker Road was given a ride to his mother's home.

8:39 p.m. A CD faceplate, amplifier and sunglasses valued at a total of $450 were taken from a vehicle in the 900 block of Cleveland St. The amplifier was found Dec. 20 in the 600 block of E. Grant St.

11:38 p.m. A 24-year-old man was taken into custody on a warrant for parole violation following a report of intoxicated people in the 1800 block of S. Main St.

Saturday, Dec. 20

12:40 a.m. A 30-year-old man was charged with DUII in the 800 block of S. Main St.

1:11 a.m. Two officers responded to the Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital emergency room to assist with an out-of-control psych patient.

8:14 a.m. A syringe was found in the 0-99 block of Industrial Way and disposed of.

11:18 a.m. A 47-year-old man was arrested on multiple warrants for failure to appear in cases of felony possession of a firearm and driving under the influence of intoxicants and DUII/reckless driving.

Sunday, Dec. 21

12:54 a.m. One Lebanon police officer assisted in an uprising at the Linn-Benton Juvenile Detention Center. Several females had attacked LBJDC staff.

11:18 a.m. A gray 1990 Geo metro was hit during the night, with damage to the rear driver's side. Damage: $100.

2:45 p.m. A 17-year-old male was charged with fourth-degree assault in the 100 block of Pine St. in connection with a family dispute.

8:55 p.m. The garage door to a home in the 200 block of Shannon Pl. was kicked in.

9:54 p.m. A 22-year-old woman was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, two counts of menacing, disorderly conduct and unlawful possession of a firearm after shooting into the air in the 100 block of Elmore St. in connection with a dispute with a neighbor. Her children were put in her mother's care.
