4:05 a.m. Officer chased wanted man with warrants running near S. Main and E. Maple sts. He escaped.

7:41 a.m. Bracelet and cash taken from a business in the 1100 block of S. Main St. after a rock was thrown through a window. Loss: $580. Report taken for burglary.

8:36 a.m. Rock thrown through a business window in the 1700 block of S. Main St. Loss: $1,000. Report taken.

4:13 p.m. Teenage male throwing snowballs at passing cars in the 100 block of E. Grant St. Juvenile counseled.

4:53 p.m. Two males reported having open containers of alcohol in a vehicle near Park and Maple sts.

7:36 p.m. Kenwood stereo taken from a vehicle in the Wal-Mart parking lot. Loss: $150.

Tuesday, Jan. 29

1:53 a.m. Purse taken near S. Main and W. Sherman sts.

1:46 p.m. 46-year-old man arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended, possession of methamphetamine, and presentation of an invalid operator's license near S. 10th and Tangent sts.

2:37 p.m. Vehicle damaged in the Roth's IGA parking lot. Loss: $943.

4:08 p.m. Bike found in the 2900 block of S. Main Road.

4:32 p.m. Backpack and checkbook taken from the 0-100 block of E. Sherman St.

6:26 p.m. Two loud bangs, sounding like fireworks or gunshots, heard in the 100 block of N. Main St.

9:04 p.m. Wallet and shoes found in the 300 block of S. Williams St.

Wednesday, Jan. 30

6:32 a.m. Vehicle in the ditch near Oak St. and Montessa Way. Vehicle towed.

11:26 a.m. Used syringe found near S. 11th and W. Vine sts. Disposed of.

11:49 a.m. Unused syringe found in the 700 block of E St. Disposed of.

12:14 p.m. 23-year-old man arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in the 200 block of Milton St.

2:27 p.m. 43-year-old man arrested for stealing donuts from Bi-Mart. Man charged with third-degree theft.

4:36 p.m. Two-vehicle accident in the 2600 block of S. Santiam Hwy. 63-year-old female transported to emergency room for neck and back pain.

4:38 p.m. Single-vehicle accident in the 1400 block of S. Main St.

11:29 p.m. 28-year-old female arrested for DUII and charged with possession of methamphetamine near S. Santiam Hwy. and Tennessee School Road.

Thursday, Jan. 31

9:45 a.m. Two cows allegedly escaped from a parked trailer in the 1700 block of S. Main St. Unable to locate.

11:40 a.m. HP laptop taken from the 1300 block of E. Grant St. Loss: $500.

12:55 p.m. Vehicles egged in the 3100 block of Columbine St.

2:48 p.m. Vehicle vandalized in the 700 block of E. Elmore St.

4:59 p.m. UPS-delivered package containing Wii video game taken from the 200 block of S. 2nd St.

7:48 p.m. 16-year-old male taken into custody for prowling vehicles in the 200 block of Milton St.

Friday, Feb. 1

12:05 a.m. Fired paintball shots reported near S. Main and W. Sherman sts., near Pizza Hut and in the 1000 block of Franklin St.

6:13 a.m. About 30 CDs taken from a vehicle in the 1300 block of S. Grove St. Dashboard torn apart and ignition damaged.

12:26 p.m. 28-year-old male trespassed from 7-11.

12:42 p.m. 17-year-old male trespassed from Seven Oak Middle School.

1:02 p.m. Paintball mark found on a window in the the 100 block of N. Santiam Hwy.

3:01 p.m. 28-year-old male taken into custody for detox in the 2000 block of S. 7th St. Also arrested on Lane County Circuit Court warrants for fourth-degree assault, second-degree disorderly conduct, and third-degree criminal mischief.

4:10 p.m. 17-year-old male smashing mailboxes in the 1000 block of S. 9th St. arrested on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of minor in possession of alcohol. Mailboxes also damaged in the 700 block of W. D St. Juvenile charged with two counts of second-degree criminal mischief and one count of minor in possession.

5:00 p.m. Paintball gun fired at a window in the 200 block of Wheeler St.

8:58 p.m. 47-year-old arrested for unauthorized use a motor vehicle in the 0-100 block of Market St. Stolen vehicle, a 1990 Chrysler LeBaron, recovered in the 600 block of S. 12th St.

Saturday, Feb. 2

6:46 a.m. Door damaged and $300 taken from a home in the 100 block of W. Oak St. Report taken for theft.

10:39 a.m. Safe and cash taken from Fish Express. Estimated loss: $1,250.

1:52 p.m. Three orange paintballs shot at a residence in the 900 block of S. Williams St.

2:53 p.m. Brown Dooney & Burke wallet reported lost near S. Main and W. Sherman sts.

5:16 p.m. Two juvenile males reported tearing up fences in the 1100 block of W. Ash Place. Juveniles located and transported home, where the juveniles and parents were counseled.

5:33 p.m. Woman in the 2000 block of S. 7th St. reports her PayPal account was fraudulently used.

6:21 p.m. Male and female attempted unsuccessfully to shoplift from Jack's Market. Subjects located and counseled.

6:50 p.m. 39-year-old male with his pants down taken into detox in the 900 block of E St.

Sunday, Feb. 3

1:25 a.m. Intoxicated male stabbing himself with a knife in the 0-100 block of Market St. taken to hospital for a mental health evaluation.

12:38 p.m. Hit-and-run accident reported near S. Main and W. Grant sts.

1:26 p.m. Coleman grill taken from the 1900 block of S. 10th St. Loss: $200.

2:10 p.m. 22-year-old female near River and E. Oak sts. taken to hospital for mental health evaluation.

4:07 p.m. Black wallet reported lost at Wal-Mart. Information documented.

5:26 p.m. Diaper bag containing cash and passports found in the 1900 block of S. Main St. Property returned to owner.
