Monday, Aug. 10

11:01 a.m. Letters were stolen from a sign in the 100 block of W. Airport Rd. over the weekend.

1:59 p.m. A resident in the 200 block of Dove St. reported repeated problems with theft and vandalism.

2:50 p.m. A digital camera and other items were taken from the 200 block of W. Olive St.

2:56 p.m. A 48-year-old male was cited for drinking in public and excluded from city parks for 30 days.

3:35 p.m. Juvenile males stopped skateboarding in a parking lot in the 700 block of "E" St. when asked, but returned later.

4:50 p.m. An unidentified male was seen pulling hard on the front door of a business, banging on the front of the building and urinated near the entry in the 800 block of S. 2nd St.

5:29 p.m. A driver reported she was hit by a red pickup near Grant and Park sts and the pickup left the scene without stopping.

6:47 p.m. The door of a trailer was pried open in the 2000 block of S. 12th St. The sheriff's office is investigating because the property is in their jurisdiction.

6:59 p.m. Witnesses reported that about 15 juveniles armed with table legs were about to start fighting near E. Oak and S. Grove sts.

8:18 p.m. Witnesses reported 10-12 juveniles pushing and yelling at each other in The Plaza parking lot and one female was knocked to the ground.

Tuesday, Aug. 11

1:24 a.m. A resident of the 400 block of Violet St. was awakened by a knocking on his door and found the cover of a cable TV box from a nearby home laying on his porch. An officer put it back where it belonged.

1:33 a.m. A witness reported that a group of four boys moved garbage cans into the road in the 2100 block of S. 7th St. then ran toward Cascades School. The boys were released to their parents.

6:27 a.m. A resident in the 200 block of Dove St. said someone put caution tape up on their property and left a fence post in their back yard.

6:38 a.m. A resident in the 0-99 block of Pheasant Run said someone left barricades in their yard. The officer return them to between Pheasant Run and Grace St., where they belonged.

2:22 p.m. Prescription drugs were reported stolen on Aug. 9.

2:39 p.m. A 17-year-old male and 16-year-old male were referred to the Linn County Juvenile Dept. for third-degree theft for alleged shoplifting from Bi-Mart.

2:54 p.m. A home in the 600 block of Walker Rd. was broken into.

4:42 p.m. An 18-year-old woman was arrested for second-degree theft in connection with alleged shoplifting at Walmart.

5:29p.m. A 2-year-old male was bit by a dog in the 1200 block of S. 2nd St. The dog's owner was advised of quarantine.

6:08 p.m. Several trees along a walkway off the 0-99 block of Grace St. were found snapped off and uprooted. One was on top of a car.

7:22 p.m. A resident in the 100 block of W. Grant St. reported that people have been going through his back yard and leaving personal items and garbage bags in the field behind his house.

7:49 p.m. A 22-year-old female was arrested for third-degree theft for alleged shoplifting at Safeway.

8:55 p.m. A 37-year-old man was arrested for DUII in the 1900 block of S. Main St.

Wednesday, July 12

1 a.m. A house in the 200 E. Carolina St. was egged. The resident heard a noise and looked outside.

10:06 a.m. A green and black BMX bicycle was taken from near S. 3rd and W. Ash St. on Tuesday.

1:17 p.m. A man allegedly assaulted a person in the 600 block of Walker Rd. Medics were dispatched for the victim.

2:21 p.m. Two newspaper boxes were knocked over in front of the Lebanon Express during the night.

2:22 p.m. A 37-year-old man was charged with third-degree theft in connection with alleged shoplifting from Walmart. Loss: $15.

4:03 p.m. A 13-year-old male was cited for unsafe operation of a bicycle on a sidewalk following a vehicle vs. bicycle accident in the 1900 block of S. Main St. The bicyclist was carrying a passenger.

6:07 p.m. A 19-year-old woman was cited for third-degree theft in connection with alleged shoplifting at Walmart and with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

7:16 p.m. A 37-year-old man was identified on police video as breaking the lobby door of the new Lebanon Justice Center. Damage: $50.

10:54 p.m. A 53-year-old man was arrested for menacing in the 2200 block of Leonard Ln. in connection with a domestic dispute.

Thursday, Aug. 13

12:20 a.m. A 25-year-old man was arrested in the 600 block of S. Main St. and charged with carrying a concealed weapon and on a warrant for failure to appear on a reckless driving charge.

7:20 a.m. A windshield was broken near S. 8th and W. Isabella sts. Damage: $600.

9:28 a.m. The student garden at Seven Oak School was vandalized again. Damage: $200.

10:55 a.m. A white statue of three dogs was taken from the 600 block of Vaughan Ln.

11:04 a.m. Firecrackers were set off during the night in a mailbox in the 200 block of Dove St.

11:19 a.m. Residents in the 0-99 block of W. Olive St. chased off people during the night and found yard ornaments that are not theirs on the sidewalk in the morning. Ornaments included two statues of Buddha, one of the Seven Dwarfs and one of a male with a sombrero.

11:36 a.m. The 37-year-old man identified as the suspect in breaking the Justice Center door on Wednesday was cited for criminal mischief when he went in to file a complaint that an MP3 player was stolen from his vehicle.

12:58 p.m. A 16-year-old male was cited for third-degree theft in connection with alleged shoplifting from Safeway. Loss: $4.99.

1:45 p.m. Drivers exchanged information following a two-vehicle non-injury accident in the 1100 block of S. Main St.

4:55 p.m. A vehicle in the 0-99 block of Pheasant Run was keyed in the last few days. Damage: $300.

5:15 p.m. Decorative statues were taken from a yard in the 600 block of Vaughan Ln. Loss: $101.

7:23 p.m. Prescription pain medicine was taken from the 200 block of E. Vine St.

7:42 p.m. Police counseled juveniles and adults involved in a neighborhood dispute about teens who allegedly were being destructive to playground equipment.

8:11 p.m. Two BMX bicycles were stolen in the last few weeks from the 2100 block of Mayfly Dr. Loss: $180.

Friday, Aug. 14

2:06 p.m. A car vs. bicycle accident occurred at W. Sherman and S. 2nd sts. Medics transported the bicyclist, a 45-year-old woman, to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.

2:23 p.m. Police responded to a fight between neighbors in the 500 block of S. 12th St. Neither man wanted to pursue charges against the other.

3:14 p.m. A 40-year-old woman was arrested on a warrant for failure to comply in a criminal citation case.

4:27 p.m. Picnic tables in the common area in the 3200 block of Oak Terrace Dr. were defaced with writing.

6:02 p.m. Parents stopped using a baby monitor when police told them a driver passing the home reported he could pick up pictures from a camera in a child's room with his backup camera.

8:14 p.m. Employees at the Dollar Store reported a man making threats.

8:50 p.m. Someone at the Fire Pit Lounge reported that a 21-year-old man threatened a 52-year-old man.

10:17 p.m. A 14-year-old male and a 15-year-old male were released to a parent after a report that they broke glass in the middle of 2200 S. Main Rd. The boys, who had bats, told police they were hitting pine cones.

10:48 p.m. Two teen males were reported to have taken a smoking pipe from a store in the 1400 block of S. Main St.

Saturday, Aug. 15

12:16 a.m. A resident reported finding tree branches on top of a family car in the 100 block of E. Rose St.

12:18 a.m. A 45-year-old female, a former employee of Jamata Happy Home, was cited for third-degree theft and was trespassed from the location after she was reported to be cutting roses on the property.

12:31 a.m. A man reported he found someone jumping on the hood of his car, causing dents. The incident occurred in the Linn Lanes parking lot.

3:43 a.m. A resident in the 900 block of Park St. reported a man urinated in her yard. Police told the 36-year-old man not to return to the location.

6:15 a.m. Officers removed a bumper and a dead deer from S. Santiam Hwy. near Crowfoot Rd.

11:34 a.m. A 53-year-old man was arrested on a warrant for hit-and-run.

5:09 p.m. A woman in the 2900 block of S. 8th St. reported several male teens hanging around the area, laying on the sidewalk and cussing. When she asked them to move away from her home, they called her names. They moved after being contacted by police.

6:40 p.m. Police assisted medics in the 100 block of E. Rose St., where a man was found intoxicated. He was transported to the hospital.

8:20 p.m. Police responded to a fire alarm at Century Fields and discovered it was caused by burnt food in a microwave. They advised firefighters.

9:52 p.m. A 21-year-old woman was charged with second-degree theft for alleged shoplifting at Walmart.

Sunday, Aug. 16

1:11 a.m. Officers called a tow truck to remove a car from the ditch near Stoltz Hill and Walker rds. The 20-year-old female driver and her passengers were not injured.

6:59 a.m. A vehicle window was broken out in the 3000 block of S. Main Rd.

9:10 a.m. A 50-year-old man was charged with violating his notice of exclusion from parks after he was found under the bridge between Gill's Landing and River Park.

9:19 a.m. A 45-year-old woman was cited for drinking alcohol in city parks and issued an exclusion notice.

12:54 p.m. A 20-year-old man and a 15-year-old male were advised to contact city hall for a peddler's permit. They had been going door-to-door near S. 8th and W. Sherman sts., selling vacuum cleaners.

3:07 p.m. A 35-year-old man and a 49-year-old man were issued 30-day exclusions from city parks and cited for possession of alcohol in the parks.

4:30 p.m. A 26-year-old man and a 25-year-old man were cited for possession of alcoholic beverages in a park without a permit and issued exclusion from city parks for 30 days.

5:25 p.m. A laptop, iPod and medications were taken from a home in the 1300 block of S. 2nd St. The home was entered through a damaged window.

6:07 p.m. A 17-year-old female was referred to the Linn County Juvenile Department for alleged shoplifting at Walmart and released to her parents. An 18-year-old woman was cited for first-degree theft in the same incident.

9:07 p.m. A 19-year-old male was arrested for second-degree criminal mischief, minor in possession (alcohol) and on a warrant for failure to appear in an assault case. He ran from officers investigating a report of minors drinking alcoholic beverages in the 600 block of S. 12th St.

10:39 p.m. A 22-year-old man was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in an attempt to elude case. He ran from a car stopped by police for a traffic violation.
