Monday, Aug. 3
12:01 a.m. Two kids were reported on a rolling chair going northbound on S. 2nd St. near "E" St. One vehicle nearly hit them. They were gone when police arrived at 12:02 a.m.
12:24 a.m. Items were found missing from a home in the 200 block of Shannon Pl. when the residents returned.
8:24 a.m. An officer removed a dead coyote that was left hanging over a fence in the 33100 block of Tennessee Rd.
8:41 a.m. Shrubs were partially burned over the weekend in the 800 block of Park St. Damage: $200.
11:09 a.m. A business sign in the 1100 block of S. Main St. was broken and part of it taken. Damage: $300.
12:02 p.m. Two 17-year-old males were charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana near S. 7th and Azalea sts.
12:16 p.m. A 31-year-old man was arrested on a warrant for failure to comply in a traffic case.
4:50 p.m. A 36-year-old female was arrested in the 500 block of S. 14th St. on multiple warrants for failure to comply.
7:33 p.m. A 17-year-old intoxicated female was detained on a probation order and a 14-year-old male was referred to the Linn County Juvenile Dept. for minor in possession (alcohol) by consumption. After being checked at the emergency room the female was transported to Oak Creek Juvenile Detention Center and the male was released to his mother.
8:16 p.m. A 51-year-old woman was charged with DUII and driving while suspended (misdemeanor) in the 3200 block of S. Santiam Hwy.
9:55 p.m. Linn County deputies assisted Lebanon police with a group of juveniles reportedly fighting with sticks near S. Grove and E. Oak sts. One juvenile said he was attacked by four people with bats and has a slight injury but does not want to press charges.
10:23 p.m. A resident of the 700 block of Milton St. asked for extra patrol after she returned home and found doors unlocked, blinds and the garage open and things moved.
Tuesday, Aug. 4
7:31 a.m. Lebanon firefighters reported a bark dust fire in the 100 block of Park St.
11:03 a.m. A license plate and gas cap were taken off a motor home parked in the 900 block of Mazama Ave. Loss: $110.
3:22 p.m. An 18-year-old male was charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana in the 1300 block of E. Grant St. Officers also talked to two 14-year-old males and a 13-year-old female.
4:30 p.m. A wallet containing cash, driver's license, credit cards and medical cards were lost in the 1700 block of S. 5th St.
5:22 p.m. A 26-year-old male was charged with third-degree theft and criminal mischief in connection with theft at The Elks Club.
Wednesday, Aug. 5
12:32 p.m. Drivers exchanged information following a two-vehicle non-injury accident in the 1700 block of S. Main St.
4:11 p.m. An 18-year-old male was charged with disorderly conduct in connection with a disturbance in the 300 block of S. 8th St.
11:39 p.m. A 35-year-old man was charged with DUII in the 300 block of N. Santiam Hwy.
Thursday, Aug. 6
12:37 a.m. Four people in their teens and 20s were reported to be fighting with baseball bats in the 300 block of S. 8th St. Police contacted four males. None wanted to press charges.
8:12 a.m. Parts were taken from a truck parked in the 2700 block of S. Main Rd. Loss: $1,000.
9:21 a.m. A 17-year-old female, a listed runaway from Clark County, Wash., was taken into custody and taken to Oak Creek Juvenile Detention Center pending extradition.
4:28 p.m. A vehicle parked in the 200 block of Shannon Pl. was broken into and a GPS taken.
Friday, Aug. 7
3:35 a.m. A 22-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct and criminal trespass. He allegedly wandered around in the 500 block of "D" St. and pulled his short down to his knees.
11:11 a.m. A Willamette Manor representative reported that eggs were being thrown at a residence in the 100 block of "C" St.
12:13 p.m. A utility pole in front of the Lebanon Express was hit by a truck pulling away from the adjacent parking space. Foot-long splinters fell in the roadway and the metal identification plate was knocked off. Damage: $50.
2:59 p.m. Lebanon police assisted with traffic control at the scene of an accident at Santiam Hwy. and Spicer Dr.
7:51 p.m. A 19-year-old male was arrested on a warrant for failure to comply in a theft case.
10:15 p.m. An 18-year-old male was arrested for failing to perform the duties of a driver at the scene of an accident. The crash was on Stoltz Hill Road. He was driving a dark blue Chevy S10 pickup.
Saturday, Aug. 8
2:28 a.m. Two men were arrested following reports of vehicles getting hit at Bob Smith Park. A 19-year-old man was charged with hit and run, initiating a false report and obstructing justice. A 25-year-old man was charged with interfering with making a police report, initiating a false report and obstructing justice.
2:03 p.m. A two-vehicle injury accident blocked travel lanes near S. Santiam Hwy. and Market St. One person was transported by ambulance to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.
Sunday, Aug. 9
8:03 a.m. A 48-year-old man was arrested on multiple warrants for a parole violation and other charges.
2:31 p.m. A three-vehicle non-injury accident caused lane blockage at W. Airport Rd. and S. 2nd St. Drivers exchanged information.
3:57 p.m. A 31-year-old man was arrested on multiple warrants for failure to appear.
8:40 p.m. A 30-year-old woman was charged with fourth-degree felony assault (domestic) and a warrant for criminal trespass.
11:30 p.m. A 15-year-old female was charged with second-degree assault for allegedly injuring another person with a knife near E. Ash and S. Williams sts.
