Monday, April 6

3:52 a.m. A 31-year-old woman was cited for harassment in connection with a domestic dispute in the 1800 block of S. Main St.

8:36 a.m. Someone attempted to enter a vehicle in the 900 block of S. Williams St. during the night. Nothing was taken but there were pry marks on the vehicle.

10:33 a.m. A cell phone was taken from a home in the 600 block of S. 12th St. while many people were there. Loss: $200.

3:32 p.m. A young male was seen carrying a rifle while walking near S. Williams and E. Ash sts. Police discovered he was headed out of town with his BB gun.

9:36 p.m. A male with blonde hair was reported walking on Ash St. near Main St. and pointing a laser at drivers as they pass.

Tuesday, April 7

10:55 a.m. Someone cut three plants off the side wall of a building in the 600 block of E. Rose St.

11:09 a.m. Bing's Kitchen was hit by a vehicle last Friday night. Damage: $300.

12:38 p.m. A woman asked for her neighbor to be trespassed from her residence because she had been trespassed from the neighbor's.

11:33 p.m. A 21-year-old man was arrested on a warrant for failure to comply in a traffic case.

Wednesday, April 8

12:32 a.m. Officers and medics responded to the report of a woman laying in a yard in the 200 block of Walker Rd. She was not responsive and was transported to the hospital.

10:46 a.m. A resident in the 2100 block of S. 5th St. complained about a neighbor's dog that digs its way under a fence into his yard. The dog owner will fix the fence and will attempt to find new homes for at least two of his four dogs, because of a city limit of two adult dogs to a household.

12:04 p.m. An 18-year-old woman was cited for having a dog at large after a dachshund was attacked by the woman's pit bull.

3:34 p.m. An 18-year-old man was arrested on a warrant. He was one of several people contacted following a report of a fight at S. Main and E. Carolina sts.

3:58 p.m. A 36-year-old man was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic) in connection with the fight at S. Main and E. Carolina sts.

4:11 p.m. A 17-year-old male was charged with third-degree theft in connection with alleged shoplifting at Safeway. Loss: $3.38.

4:18 p.m. A woman picked up a male toddler who she saw walking along S. Main Rd. and took him with her. The toddler's grandmother told police her 14-year-old son was babysitting and when he tried to retrieve the toddler, the woman drove off.

4:48 p.m. Two females, ages 15 and 16 were referred to the Linn County Juvenile department for criminal mischief in connection with a woman's report that two girls egged her house in the 2700 block of S. 12th St.

10:24 p.m. A purse with ID and credit cards in it, camera and dental hygiene tools were taken out of a vehicle in the 0-99 block of N. Santiam Hwy. Loss: $2,200.

11:58 p.m. A dark gray 2006 Jeep Commander was taken from the 500 block of W. Vine St. The vehicle was seen running the stop sign at 2nd and Grant sts and followed north to a field near James Place and Hwy. 20. The driver fled but was captured. A 14-year-old male was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, attempt to elude (felony), attempt to elude (misdemeanor), second-degree criminal trespass, second-degree, criminal mischief, reckless driving, and hit and run (misdemeanor).

Thursday, April 9

9:12 a.m. Police checked out a man working door-to-door near Hiatt and E. Elmore sts. and confirmed that he was working for the Census Bureau and had ID on him.

11:38 a.m. A 16-year-old male was referred to the Linn County Juvenile Dept. for minor in possession (tobacco) at Lebanon High School.

11:42 a.m. Police checked out a report about fraudulent use of a debit card and discovered that a company called "CheapestThemes.com is charging small amounts to a large number of people in the country. They get the card numbers by hacking into a data bank.

12:23 p.m. A woman reported that her daughter altered and deposited a check.

3:31 p.m. A man reported someone, possibly his brother, had used his name on traffic stops, affecting his driving record.

4:01 p.m. A vehicle was hit in a parking lot in the 2500 block of S. Santiam Hwy. and left the scene. Police contacted both drivers and found no damage to either vehicle.

4:39 p.m. A 44-year-old man was arrested on a warrant for failure to comply in a harassment case.

7:10 p.m. A woman was cited for second-degree criminal trespass for being at WalMart when she had been trespassed from the store.

8:21 p.m. A 45-year-old woman was charged with DUII following a hit and run accident in the 0-99 block of W. Sherman St.

11:50 p.m. A woman reported that 15 vicodin pills were taken from her home on Tuesday. Loss: $3.

Friday, April 10

2:34 a.m. A janitor reported his work keys were stolen from the 2200 block of S. Main Rd.

9:50 a.m. A 39-year-old woman was charged with fourth-degree assault (felony) in connection with a domestic dispute.

10:40 a.m. A vehicle in the 700 block of Manor Way was hit during the night. Damage: $3,500.

5:40 p.m. Tools, tiles and other materials used in remodeling were taken from a house in the 1500 block of S. 2nd St. The rear entrance appeared to have been chiseled open.

7:39 p.m. A 13-year-old female was assaulted by her older brother. Emergency room personnel called police when she arrived there.

9:30 p.m. Seven people were arrested at a party in the 600 block of Manor Way. A 19-year-old man, two 20-year-old men, a 15-year-old male, an 18-year-old woman and a 19-year-old female were cited for minor in possession (alcohol). The 19-year-old female also was charged with giving false information to police (wrong name). A 21-year-old man was arrested on a warrant for a probation violation on a previous charge of attempted first-degree sex abuse.

Saturday, April 11

12:26 a.m. A 15-year-old male and 18-year-old male were charged with minor in possession (alcohol). The 18-year-old also was charged with furnishing alcohol to a minor.

12:45 a.m. A fire reported in the 1900 block of S. 7th St. was a legal recreational fire.

8 a.m. A resident in the 400 block of "E" St. reported that fencing was placed on his vehicle during the night.

2:31 p.m. Two young males, ages 9 and 11, admitted to breaking two windows at Green Acres School with a slingshot while attempting to shoot rocks over the building. The boys' parents will handle the matter civilly with the school district.

2:53 p.m. A 16-year-old female bicyclist was transported to the Lebanon hospital with minor injuries following a vehicle vs. bicycle accident at S. Main and E. Ash sts.

4:42 p.m. The emergency room called police when a 14-year-old boy came in with a dog bite. The dog owner reported the dog was up-to-date on shots and was put down.

6:40 p.m. A 50-year-old man was charged with third-degree theft for allegedly taking beer from Safeway.

7:15 p.m. A 45-year-old woman was arrested for DUII and her 3-year-old daughter was taken into protective custody while officers attempted to locate relatives.

11:46 p.m. Following a fight in front of Sherman St. Bar and Grill, a 25-year-old man was cited for disorderly conduct and assault and a 26-year-old man was cited for disorderly conduct. The 26-year-old man was transported to the Lebanon hospital for lacerations on his hand. The window of a nearby business was broken and a vehicle was damaged during the fight.

Sunday, April 12

1:09 a.m. The mother of a 17-year-old male reported he was mugged near 7th and "F" sts. His wallet and iPod were taken by three males. The case is under investigation as third-degree robbery.

10:24 p.m. A tan Suburban was reported driving the wrong way on Main St. north from Sherman St. It drove north on Highway 20 and landed in the canal south of Gore Dr. A 65-year-old man and 33-year-old woman were in the vehicle. A utility pole near the canal was sheared off.

11:09 p.m. A 13-year-old female was reported as a runaway.

• Unlawful use of disabled parking space - 2.

• Driving under the influence (misdemeanor).
