Monday July 13

12:59 a.m. What sounded like a single gun shot near Mountain River Dr. may have been fireworks.

11:47 a.m. A garage in the 100 block of Hiatt St. was shot with a BB gun.

12:51 p.m. A home in the 800 block of Wassom St. was broken into while a resident was in the shower.

6:12 p.m. An 18-year-old man was cited for second-degree theft for alleged employee theft from Walmart.

11:52 p.m. What was reported as two gunshots near "D" and "E" sts. and 9th St. was determined to be fireworks.

Tuesday, July 14

12:07 a.m. Two boys ages 12 and 15 were reported walking north on Quail Place from Pheasant Run. The caller thought they looked suspicious.

12:13 a.m. What was reported as gunshots near the 700 block of Walker Rd. was determined to be fireworks.

12:18 a.m. Two groups of teens were reported whooping and hollering on Milton St. near Main St.

12:40 a.m. Kids were heard running through the area of Cypress Ct. and W. Airport Rd.

7:23 a.m. The window of vehicle in the 500 block of W. Maple St. was broken into during the night.

1:45 p.m. A bank card was fraudulently used to make purchases online.

2:39 p.m. A home in the 200 block of S. 2nd St. was entered Saturday night and a wallet taken.

3:19 p.m. A resident reported that a man selling security systems came to her door in the 2100 block of Janna Ct. He had no business card or flyer, but police found he had a valid peddler's license.

8:42 p.m. A 56-year-old man was arrested on a warrant for dangerous drugs and possession of methamphetamine.

Wednesday, July 15

4 p.m. A resident in the 100 block of Hobbs St. reported that a man came to her house soliciting. She was worried about a scam. Police confirmed that the man had a valid permit from the city.

5:55 p.m. A resident drove across the neighbor's yard in the 200 block of S. 6th St. and hit the neighbor's vehicle. Vehicle owners exchanged information.

7:42 p.m. A male and female reportedly stole a camera from Walgreen's and left in a silver vehicle.

10:29 p.m. A 24-year-old man was arrested in the 600 block of S. Main St. on a statewide felony warrant in methamphetamine case and was cited on two local warrants.

Thursday, July 16

12:10 a.m. A resident in the 800 block of Manor Way reported that two people on BMX bikes were trying to get into his vehicle. They scratched the paint but did not get in. Damage: $900.

1 a.m. Four males, three age 15 and one age 14, riding bicycles near E. Dodge and Grove sts. were advised of curfew and given 5 minutes to get home.

1:11 a.m. A 44-year-old man was arrested for DUII at S. Williams and E. Vine sts.

7:30 a.m. A 16-year-old female was reported as a runaway.

12:45 p.m. Extra patrol was requested in the 2200 block of S. Santiam Hwy. due to reports of juveniles drinking and loitering in the area at night.

3:02 p.m. A wallet with ID and credit cards was lost at the DMV office.

3:59 p.m. A 50-year-old man was arrested in the 600 block of S. Main St. on a warrant for failure to appear in a harassment case.

4:46 p.m. The window of a business in the 0-99 block of E. Sherman St. was broken during the night.

5:10 p.m. A father reported that a neighbor gave his children Popsicles earlier in the day and as she left, said "They're poisoned and you'll die." He was advised to call police back if any of the children became ill.

6:07 p.m. A hole was discovered in the back window of a car parked in the 1800 block of Hemlock St., apparently from a gunshot. Damage: $200.

8:10 p.m. A 20-year-old man was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device in connection with a two-vehicle, non-injury accident at S. 12th St. and W. Airport Rd.

11:30 p.m. Several people in the parking lot by Les Schwab denied using fireworks after police received a report that fireworks set off there went into the street and nearly caused an accident.

11:50 p.m. A cell phone was reported stolen from Walmart. The owner told police he called the phone and a female answered and told him something to the effect of "Good luck getting it back." Loss: $75.

Friday, July 17

7:41 a.m. Police recovered an abandoned wheelchair sitting near the corner of 2nd St. and Airport Rd.

1:31 p.m. A vehicle was keyed in the Safeway parking lot. Damage: $500.

6:46 p.m. A male attempted to have a forged prescription filled at Walgreen's pharmacy and at least one other. Officers are investigating.

Saturday, July 18

1:37 p.m. A 30-year-old man reported he was assaulted on July 15 and has been in the hospital since. He suffered a broken jaw that had to be surgically repaired. Officers are investigating.

4:41 p.m. A 42-year-old man was arrested for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and a warrant for probation violation and delivery of methamphetamine.

6:24 p.m. A car parked in the Shop 'N Kart parking lot was hit. Damage; $1,000.

6:52 p.m. A garage in the 800 block of Wassom St. was entered and car keys taken.

7:03 p.m. A 39-year-old man was injured in a fight at River Park. He and a 40-year-old man were given exclusion notices for the park. The injured man didn't want to press charges. He was given a ride to the hospital.

8:04 p.m. A 21-year-old female was cited for disorderly conduct 200 block of Jennings St.

8:08 p.m. A 21-year-old man was cited for allegedly shoplifting a cart full of beer at Safeway.

Sunday, July 19

4:04 a.m. A resident reported that a rock was thrown through her front door. Damage: $100.

2:10 p.m. A 23-year-old man was cited for possession of methamphetamine and marijuana in the 800 block of Park St.
