Monday, May 11
3:51 a.m. The rear window of a vehicle was smashed in the 200 block of Wheeler St. Loss: $500.
7:56 a.m. A Green Acres School employee reported that a man driving a white Ford Ranger was speeding in the area. He nearly hit a pedestrian, flipped off the near victim and left northbound on 10th. The school requested extra patrols.
2:02 p.m. A 28-year-old female was charged with third-degree theft for alleged shoplifting at Walmart. She also was charged on a warrant for first-degree criminal mistreatment.
2:05 p.m. A vehicle was vandalized in the 1000 block of W. Oak St.
4:55 p.m. A resident in the 600 block of Manor Way reported that an iPod Nano was taken from his room. Loss: $150.
5:57 p.m. A man reported that someone stole his Social Security number and is using it to get Internet and Comcast cable services in the 1900 block of S. 9th St. in Lebanon.
9:52 p.m. A 20-year-old man was arrested on a warrant/no bail detention order.
Tuesday, May 12
10:51 a.m. A window was broken at Green Acres School. Loss: $300.
3:02 p.m. A 44-year-old man was charged with fourth-degree assault (domestic) in the 0-99 block of W. Ash St.
3:13 p.m. The Linn County Sheriff's Dispatch Center reported that a 15-year-old male student punched a teacher at the Lebanon High School Brick House. He was charged with fourth-degree assault.
3:44 p.m. A foster care caseworker reported that the same student pushed another student into a locker at Lebanon High School. The school will deal with the problem.
3:50 p.m. An official with the Latter-day Saints Church requested extra patrols because of problems with students.
4:25 p.m. A two-vehicle non-injury accident blocked one lane of S. Main St. at W. Grant St. Damage: Less than $1,500.
Wednesday, May 13
1:17 p.m. A 20-year-old man was taken into custody on a no-bail warrant for failure to comply in a driving while suspended case.
9:23 a.m. The maintenance supervisor at Sand Ridge Apartments reported vandalism to an apartment.
9:28 a.m. A 13-year-old female was referred to the Linn County Juvenile Department for alleged vandalism to the Seven Oak School library.
9:41 a.m. An enclosed trailer parked at Walmart was scratched and damaged.
10:31 a.m. The eastbound lane of W. Airport Rd. was blocked by a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of W. Airport Rd. and S. Main Rd. One driver was transported to the Lebanon hospital by medics.
12:22 p.m. Airport Road was blocked by a three-vehicle accident at S. 2nd St. and W. Airport Rd. One vehicle left the scene.
3:20 p.m. A woman reported that her grade school age granddaughter was harassed on at least two occasions by four males who appeared to be
high school age.
Thursday, May 14
7:35 a.m. An employee at Green Acres School reported that the black Toyota pickup that nearly hit a child last week passed through the school zone at a high rate of speed. Officers monitored traffic in the area.
8:07 a.m. A man reported his 14-year-old son as a runaway.
9:48 a.m. Two male high school students received minor injuries in a fight during class at Lebanon High School. Neither wanted to file charges. Parents were advised. The school will handle discipline.
11:45 a.m. Two 17-year-old males were referred to the Linn County Juvenile Dept. for minor in possession (tobacco) at "F" and S. 9th sts. One gave a false name and was charged with providing false information to police.
11:56 a.m. A 16-year-old male was referred to Linn County Juvenile Dept. for minor in possession (tobacco) at 7th and "F" sts.
3:59 p.m. A driver reported her vehicle was hit at the intersection of S. Main St. and W. Airport Rd. and received minimal damage. She followed the other driver to his destination and called police. He was unaware of the accident.
4:03 p.m. A 1985 Mercury 9.9 HP marine motor was taken from the 200 block of Violet St. The boat was damaged when the motor was ripped off. Loss and damage: $900.
5:06 p.m. A large planter and plants were taken from a yard in the 600 block of Mountain River Dr. Loss: $50.
5:09 p.m. A 16-year-old male was reported as a runaway.
8:44 p.m. A house in the 2200 block of Stoltz Hill Rd. was broken into and a 99 mm semi-automatic handgun was taken. Damage: $20.
9:41 p.m. A 33-year-old man was arrested on a warrant for contempt of court.
9:56 p.m. One driver was cited for multiple violations in connection with a two-vehicle accident in The Plaza parking lot.
10:36 p.m. A 17-year-old male was referred to the Linn County Juvenile Dept. for minor in possession by consumption and released to his mother.
Friday, May 15
2:30 a.m. A resident of the 300 block of E. Rose St. looked out her window and saw a male running away with her rocking chair. The chair, another chair and several homemade crosses were found at Rose and Williams sts.
8:19 a.m. A 12-year-old female reported she was assaulted at Seven Oak School. Two females, ages 14 and 15, were referred to the Linn County Juvenile Dept. for harassment.
12:34 p.m. A LHS student reported she was being harassed by text message by a suspended student.
1:01 p.m. Officers monitored the area around Lebanon High School to prevent students from leaving the grounds during an evacuation drill.
1:30 p.m. A 28-year-old male was arrested on multiple warrants. The original charges included harassment.
3:31 p.m. A 39-year-old woman was arrested for driving while suspended and a hit-and-run that occurred in the 700 block of W. Grant St. about 1:15 p.m.
4:30 p.m. A resident in the 3200 block of Oak Terrace Dr. reported that the fence around the wetlands was cut. Loss: $50.
8:32 p.m. A 37-year-old man was arrested on a no-bail warrant for failure to comply/contempt.
Saturday, May 16
12:56 a.m. A 19-year-old male was cited for minor in possession (alcohol).
2:11 p.m. A resident in the 2100 block of Mayfly St. reported skateboarders skating on a wall and fence on her property. She will put up a no skateboarding sign.
2:39 p.m. The window of an employees vehicle in the hospital parking lot was broken. Loss: $200.
6:31 p.m. A 42-year-old woman was cited for unsafe lane change and a driving while suspended violation in connection with a two-vehicle non-injury accident at S. Main and E. Elmore sts.
7:57 p.m. A 19-year-old man was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in a trespassing case.
10:29 p.m. An 18-year-old man was cited for minor in possession (alcohol).
Sunday, May 17
12:30 a.m. Lebanon police assisted Linn County Sheriff's deputies at a report of a fight in the 600 block of "B" St. Medics were called for injuries to one person.
1:44 a.m. A woman reported screaming near S. 6th and "A" sts. turned out to be a 10-year-old male.
4:12 a.m. A shed in the 0-99 block of Cedar St. was broken into and hinges were damaged. The resident's dog scared the person and his son saw the person run away.
7:43 a.m. Lebanon police assisted the Linn County Sheriff's deputies at the scene of a non-injury rollover crash in the 2800 block of Stoltz Hill Rd.
7:51 a.m. A horse was found on the roadway in the 32700 block of Berlin Rd. The owner was identified and will be called. Officers noticed that a vehicle went off the road and damaged a fence, letting the horse out.
8:48 a.m. A 29-year-old man was charged with offensive littering.
10:47 a.m. A brown mountain bike was taken from the 2000 block of Cypress Ct. Loss: $30.
12:57 p.m. A woman reported that someone wrote on her vehicle with lipstick in the 2800 block of S. 12th St.
3:28 p.m. A 33-year-old man was charged with third-degree theft for alleged shoplifting and trespassed from Safeway.
6:18 p.m. A 32-inch plasma TV was taken from a home in the 1000 block of S. 3rd St. Loss: $800.
6:28 p.m. Two police officers used fire extinguishers to put out a fire in a porta-potty near the LHS baseball fields. Firefighters also responded.
10:15 p.m. A vehicle was broken into in the 1600 block of S. 2nd St. Prescriptions, a portable DVD player and other items were taken. Loss: $300.
