Bruce D. Lacey, 75, of Sweet Home, died on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008, at his home.

Private services will be held.

He was born in Glendale, Calif., on Sept. 5, 1933, to Edgar Paul and Grace Harriet (Paulson) Lacey.

In 1949, he enlisted in the Army and trained in military intelligence and photo interpretation. He served in Korea and Vietnam before being discharged in 1958. He worked as a police officer in California.

Mr. Lacey is survived by his wife Donna Lee Lacey of Sweet Home; daughters Brenda Joy Lacey of Wisconsin, Dana Lynn Scott of Texas and Debra Lee Parkerson of Sweet Home; sons Brent Darryl Lacey of Missouri, Bryon Dale Lacey of Sweet Home and Bradly DeWayne Lacey of California; brother John M. Lacey of Southern California; 14 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

His mother, father and a sister died before he did.

Sweet Home Funeral Chapel handled arrangements.
