Alice M. Sherrill, 89, of Lebanon, died July 19, 2008, at a Lebanon care home.

No services are being planned. Private interment was held in the Lebanon I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

She was born May 26, 1919, in Waco, Neb., the daughter of Charles and Mary (Shilley) Jokerst.

She married Jesse L. Sherrill in June of 1939 in York, Neb. They moved to Oregon, living in Lafayette, McMinnville and Albany before moving to Lebanon in 1978.

Mrs. Sherrill is survived by daughter and son-in-law Betty and Bob Berry of Lebanon; granddaughters Julie Bishop of Lebanon and Debra Short of Post Falls, Idaho; four great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; three sisters; two brothers; and several nieces and nephews.

Her husband Jesse, parents, three sisters, and two brothers died before she did.
