Dumas "Sonny" DeKuyper, 72, of Lebanon, died on Dec. 13, 2008, at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Jan. 3, 2009, in the Fireside Room at Lebanon First Assembly of God Church.
He was born Sept. 5, 1936, in Lebanon, the son of Damas and Minnie (McIntosh) DeKuyper. He lived in the Lebanon area throughout his life.
He married JoAnne Coughran on Sept. 12, 1958. The couple divorced several years later.
He is survived by sons Joe and Terry DeKuyper, both of Glenwood, Ark.; brother Gary DeKuyper of Lebanon; sister Barbara Moffatt of Lebanon; six grandchildren;and four great grandchildren.
Daughters Judy Weikel and Patricia Jerral and sister Ramona Board died before he did.
