Clyde O. Buckner, 72, of Lebanon, died Dec. 21 at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.
A memorial service was held Dec. 29 at Lebanon First Assembly of God Church.
He was born Feb. 6, 1936, in Amarillo, Texas, the son of Clyde and Josephine (Cotton) Buckner.
The family moved to San Diego, Calif., when he was a child.
He married Bobbie Christiansen on April 29, 1967, in N. Hollywood, Calif. They moved to Lebanon in 1970, along with his close cousin, Chuck Ford.
He worked in the construction industry much of his life.
Mr. Buckner was an active member of the Lebanon First Assembly of God Church and was instrumental in helping build the new Lord's Store House there.
He is survived by his wife Bobbie; sons Steven and Mike Buckner and Carson Whitt; daughters Michelle Fountain, Susie Dowding and Pam Gorski; brother Ed Buckner; sisters Mary Reynolds and Jeanne Withem; 19 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
