Ruth E. Lewis, 82, of Lebanon, died Feb. 3, 2009, at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital, surrounded by her family.
An informal memorial gathering will be held on Feb. 15 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Recreation Hall at Twin Cedars Mobile Home Park, 2796 S. Main Rd., Lebanon. Private inurement will be at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens.
She was born Jan. 22, 1927, in Washington, Penn., to Fred and Gladys (Chambers) Elliott.
She graduated from Warren G. Harding High School in Warren, Ohio in 1945. After high school, Ruth worked for General Motors in Warren as a press operator until 1958.
She married Donald Lewis on July 30, 1958, in Arizona and soon after moved in Lebanon.
Mrs. Lewis was involved with the Girl Scouts for many years.
She is survived by her husband Donald Lewis of Lebanon; sons Pat Mozzillo of Portland and Greg Mozzillo of Aumsville; daughter Kathi Mozzillo of Salem; sister Marge Mozzillo of Ohio; and granddaughters Sandra Norkeveck, Jena Uhrich, and Patricia Mozzillo Walsh.
Her brothers Sam and Harold Elliott and her parents died before she did.
