Edna Pearl Stolsig, 96, of Lebanon, died Oct. 5, 2008, at her home.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. on Oct. 11, 2008, at the Lebanon First Baptist Church.

She was born Sept. 4, 1912 in Williston, N.D., the daughter of John A. and Sula (Green) Wagenman. She graduated from Eugene High School and then took one year of business college.

She married John "Jack" Stolsig on April 16, 1932, in Eugene. The couple lived in Newport and Corvallis before settling in Lebanon in 1940. Mr. Stolsig died Dec. 18, 1991.

Mrs. Stolsig had worked locally as a secretary for both Linn-Benton Community College and the Lebanon Elks Lodge.

She was a member of the Lebanon Elks Lodge 1663, the wives of past exalted rulers and the Solo Steppers.

Mrs. Stolsig is survived by her son and daughter-in-law John Stolsig and Jerrianne of Lebanon; grandchildren Jonni McDougall of Eldorado Hills, Calif., Jacki Beck of Grants Pass, Jeff Stolsig of Lebanon, and Joel Stolsig of Cameron Park, Calif.; great-grandchildren J.J. Stolsig of Salem, Linzi Stolsig of Lebanon, Alex and Braden Beck, both of Grants Pass, and Andrew and Morgan Stolsig, both of Cameron Park, Calif.

Her husband John "Jack" Stolsig and brother Roger Wagenman died before she did.

Contributions in her memory may be made to the Lebanon High School baseball program and sent in care of Huston-Jost Funeral Home, 86 W. Grant St., Lebanon, OR 97355.

Huston-Jost Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Terry Den Herder

June 24, 1951 - Oct. 2, 2008

Terry Den Herder, 57, of Lebanon, died Oct. 2, 2008, after a brief illness.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Oct. 18 at the Lebanon Senior Center.

She was born June 24, 1951, in Toledo to Larry and Donnelle (Martin) Southwell. She graduated from Toledo High School and later from Linn-Benton Community College in Albany.

She married Scott Den Herder on May 19, 1984.

Mrs. Den Herder attended Lebanon Calvary Chapel.

She is survived by her husband Scott of Lebanon, sons Sean and Ryan of Lebanon, father Larry Southwell of Toledo and brother Ken of Toledo.

The family wishes to thank members of the Lebanon Calvary Chapel for all their support.
