Hideko "Louise" Plattner, 75, of Lebanon, died Jan. 21 in Corvallis.
Private family services will be held.
She was born on Dec. 15, 1932, in Tokyo, Japan to Eizo and Hisa (Kagoshima) Hasegawa.
She married Al Plattner on Jan. 12, 1961, in Long Beach, Calif. They owned and operated a Tastee Freeze franchise in La Verne, Calif., for seven years. The couple moved to Lebanon in 1972. They purchased the Hasty Freeze restaurant in Lebanon, which they ran for several years. They later sold the business and built the Snappy Freeze restaurant in Jefferson, which they owned and operated until retiring.
Mrs. Plattner is survived by her husband Al Plattner of Lebanon; daughter and son-in-law Frances and David Bacon of Garwin, Iowa; son and daughter-in-law Alan and Laura Plattner of Lebanon; grandsons Nick Plattner and Sean Bacon; granddaughter Cory Bacon; brother- and sister-in-law Marty and Connie Plattner of Huntington Beach, Calif.; brother-in-law Dick Plattner of Salem; sister- and brother-in-law Georgine and Bob Henkle of Albany; sisters-in-law Verle Plattner of Lebanon and Mary Carpenter of Portland; close friends Terry and Mary Ann Kistler of La Verne, Calif., Mike and Nancy Tan of Lebanon, Stan and June Clayton of Corvallis, Carol Ford of Torrance, Calif., and Sunao Herrin of Cudahy, Calif.; cousin Delores Stewart and her husband Jack of Port Angeles, Wash.; and many nieces and nephews.
