Hugh F. Reilly, 79, of Lebanon, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, at Bridgecreek Memory Care Community.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 21 at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Lebanon.

He was born Jan. 20, 1929, in Sioux Falls, S.D., to Mark and Mary (Kelly) Reilly.

He grew up in Van Horne, Iowa, and later moved to Buckley, Wash., where he graduated from high school. Later, he moved to Toledo, where he worked for the C.D. Johnson Lumber Company.

He married Marcie Colby on Aug. 13, 1950, in Toledo.

They moved to Richmond, Calif., where Hugh worked for the Ford Motor Company. After his job with Ford moved them to San Jose, he began working for IBM in San Jose and remained for 28 years until retiring in 1984. They returned to Oregon in 1988, settling in Roseburg. They moved to Lebanon in 2000.

Mr. Reilly is survived by his wife Marcie Reilly of Lebanon; daughters Carrie White of Toledo and Jennifer Reilly of Eugene; sons Michael Reilly of Aliso Viejo, Calif., and Hugh Reilly of Hillsboro; brother Terrance Reilly of Texas; sisters Rosemary Johnston, Colleen Steepleton and Sharon Wymore, all of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; grandchildren Shane Reilly, Parker R. Swisher, Cody Reilly-Chase, Maria Reilly-Chase and Joseph Reilly-Chase; and great-grandchildren Noah and Thomas.

His brothers Erwin Reilly, Ronald Reilly and Joe Reilly and sister Constance Lotto died before he did.
