Haverford College

Peter Nathan Barish, son of Carol Chervenak and William Barish of Lebanon, recently received a bachelor of science degree in biology with a minor in philosophy from Haverford College. He was one of 301 students who graduated from the college.

Corban College

Three Lebanon residents were among the 214 graduates from Corban College to receive their degrees during their graduation on May 3, 2008.

Sara Beth Aikin earned her bachelor's of science degree in elementary education. She is also listed in the "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges," and earned the "Mighty Warrior Athletic Award" in women's cross country. She graduated cum laude.

Tanya Lyn Murphy also earned her bachelor's of science in elementary education.

Ronald Earl Miller received his master's degree in education.

Linfield College

Four Lebanon students graduated from Linfield College June 1 during the college's spring commencement.

The students include: Jean Benson, bachelor of science in nursing; Cynthia Lynn Gentry, bachelor of science, social and behavioral studies; Julie A. Guthrie, bachelor of science in nursing; Jeremy D. Lundberg, bachelor of arts, English (cum laude).
