Build Lebanon Trails (BLT) offers a bus tour of the 50 miles of proposed trail system on Saturday, Jan. 10, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The event is an opportunity to view trail sites, as well as receive in-depth information about the community project.

The tour begins at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital (look for BLT signs) and finishes at the newly-constructed Marks Slough Trail. The tour will be conducted by bus with a short stop at the Burkhart Creek trail allowing time to walk the trail. Rod Sell, project champion, will be aboard the bus to share information and answer questions.

Seating is limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Wear footwear and clothing appropriate to weather conditions. A walking stick, binoculars, camera and snacks are suggested.

Bottled water will be available courtesy of Linn-Co Federal Credit Union. The tour is sponsored by Samaritan Health Services (SHS), the city of Lebanon, KGAL-KSHO radio, Hut Airport shuttle service and BLT volunteers.
