Community Pride Day is coming up on May 16.
The annual clean-up of the downtown area is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The minimum age is 10.
Volunteers are asked to meet at the city parking lot at Main and Grant streets.
Choose from these activities: powerwashing buildings and sidewalks, planting flowers, litter pickup, painting, planting and weeding.
Lunch will be provided free to all participants.
Volunteers are asked to bring any of these tools: battery drill, paint roller, broom, bucket, bulb planter, dust pan, push broom, garden rake, grass clippers, hammer, shovel, hand pruner, ladder, weed whacker, leaf rake, wheelbarrow, litter grabber, loppers, paint brush and paint pan.
