It is once again time for the Lebanon Area Christmas Programs to kick into high gear for the season. For the past six years, several local agencies and churches have been involved in collecting new, unwrapped toys to deliver to needy families in the Lebanon area.

Toys will be collected for children between the ages of 1 and 12 years old. Applications for toys are available to families that live within the Lebanon Community School District boundaries.

Applications are available at the DHS office at 44 Industrial Way in Lebanon, starting Nov. 9, and may be returned to the DHS office on Mondays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. until Dec. 10.

Additionally, the Lebanon Fire District will collect toys at Walmart from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 27, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 28. Toy barrels will soon be stationed at several local businesses and cash donations may be made at local branches of Chase and U.S. Bank.

The deadline for toy donations is Dec. 14.
