About 500 people attended National Night Out in Ralston Park on Aug. 5. The event against crime, sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch and police departments across the country, brought together the Lebanon Police Department, the Lebanon Fire Department and the Linn County Sheriff's Office to raise awareness about crime prevention resources available to citizens and build a sense of community.
