The Lebanon Planning Commission has three positions coming open this spring.

Two of the positions can be filled by city residents, and one can be filled by a non-resident living within the city's urban growth boundary. The terms of these positions run from April 1, 2008 through March 31, 2012.

Letters of interest may be submitted to the Community Development Department, 853 Main Street, Lebanon, OR 97355. The deadline for submitting letters is Friday, Feb. 15.

The Planning Commission conducts public hearings on various types of development proposals and advises the City Council on land use planning policy. Members of the Planning Commission receive no compensation and attend an average of one evening meeting per month.
