Samaritan Regional Cancer Center will host its second annual skin cancer screening clinic on May 8. The event is free to the public and will be held at the Center, which is located on the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center campus.
Local dermatologists William Serrill, M.D. of Albany, Wallace Knapp, M.D. and Renee Christensen, M.P.A.-C., of the Corvallis Clinic, will conduct the screenings.
Patient education will take place throughout the day with information and literature on skin cancer prevention and treatment.
Last year's screening drew 75 people.
Screenings are by appointment only. Call Samaritan Regional Cancer Center at 541-768-5220. They are located at 501 N.W. Elks Drive in Corvallis.
