Two single-vehicle car crashes kept personnel with the Lebanon Fire Department busy Friday afternoon.
The first accident was called in at about 4:40 p.m. in the 31400 block of Waterloo Road, near Berlin Road. According to LFD Chief Dan Woodson, the car was on its top when medics and firefighters arrived. It took about 15 to 20 minutes to extricate a 65-year-old Lebanon man from the vehicle. He was taken by REACH helicopter to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis.
About 15 minutes after the Waterloo emergency call came in, a second call came into the department for a single car crash near Denny School Road and Highway 34. No injuries in the roll-over accident were reported and medics did not transport anyone from the scene.
