The annual Veteran of the Year banquet will be held at the American Legion Hall beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 10 at American Legion Post No. 51, 480 Main St., in Lebanon.

Tickets are $25 each.

The banquet will begin at 7 p.m.

Guests have the option of choosing from chicken parmesan or prime rib.

The banquet includes the presentation of the POW/MIA table, "Taps," announcement of the veteran of the year and speeches by Gen. Raymond F. Rees, adjutant general of the Oregon Military Department, and Jim Willis, director of the Oregon Department of Veterans Affairs.

Tickets are available by sending a check or money order to P.O. Box 3241, Albany OR 97321. Those who send in money for tickets will have them available at the door.

At 8 a.m. on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, memorial services will take place at the Linn County Veterans Memorial at Timber Linn Park.

The annual Veterans Day grand parade in Albany will begin at 11 a.m. downtown Albany.
