The Lebanon Fire Department put out a small blaze that damaged a truck hauling hay bales on Rock Hill Road Saturday afternoon.
According to Fire Chief Dan Woodson, an emergency call came in at about 12:07 p.m. when the hay bales shifted in the back of the farmer's truck, crushing the fenders under a tire and igniting a fire that quickly spread to the bales. It took fire personnel about 15 minutes to put out the fire and the road was partially closed during that time.
No injuries were reported.
Brownsville Fire Depart-ment assisted at the scene.
