An early morning fire Tuesday at an apartment complex in Lebanon caused nine units to be evacuated, but no injuries were reported.
The Lebanon Fire Department responded to a fire at 4:12 a.m. at the Monarch Apartments, located at 525 S. 12th St. Upon arrival, Captain Ron Danielson observed a first floor apartment heavily involved in fire, with flames extending to the apartment above. Danielson called a second alarm.
Jon Davis, LFD fire prevention specialist, said 20 LFD personnel were called out, along with three engines, two medical vehicles and a tower ladder to control the fire, which took almost three hours to bring under control.
The cause of the fire was still under investigation late Tuesday morning.
