The north half of the east side truck route is scheduled to be repaired after the substantial impact of rock hauling for Lowe's over the past year and a half.
On March 14, the Lebanon City Council voted to put the project up for bid, with work anticipated to begin after school is out in the summer.
Bids are due to the city by 9 a.m. on May 3.
The estimated cost is $1.4 million.
The project follows the truck route on Grant Street from River Park to Williams Street, Williams from Grant to Wheeler and Wheeler from Williams to Highway 20.
All of the route will receive an overlay, with base repair in some spots and a complete reconstruction of the intersection of Williams and Wheeler streets. Additionally, a center turn lane will be added to Reeves Parkway and the parkway will receive an overlay.
The project is being paid for with funds contributed by Linn County for transportation improvements in connection with the Lowe's project and with funds from the Northwest Urban Renewal Project.
