• The Linn County Board of Commissioners meets at 9:30 a.m. every Tuesday and Wednesday in the commissioners' meeting room on the second floor of the County Courthouse in Albany.
• The Linn Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Directors meets at 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month. All meetings are held at the LSWCD office, 33935 Hwy. 99E, Suite C, Tangent. For more information or to confirm meeting place and time, call 541-926-2483. Linn SWCD seeks to promote the wise use of natural resources through soil and water conservation.
• The Lebanon Community Schools Board of Directors will meet at 7 p.m. on Oct. 6 at the district office, 485 S. Fifth St. The agenda has not yet been announced.
• The People Involved in Education (PIE) will meet on Oct. 7, with a work session at 6 p.m. and a regular meeting at 7 p.m. at the Sand Ridge Charter School campus, 2900 S. Main Rd.
• The Lebanon City Council meeting scheduled for October 8 has been canceled.
