Artists and art enthusiasts visited Ralston Park on Friday and Saturday in celebration of Lebanon's fifth annual Art in the Park. All booths were manned by Northwest artists, who showcased a variety of artwork and talents.

Donna Lee, an artist from Sweet Home, had a positive response at the event.

"It's my first time out here, but it's been great so far," Lee said Friday evening. The pyrography artist (also known as woodburning) spends anywhere from a few hours to 40-plus hours a week working on her pieces. Most of her woodwork focuses on Northwest places and animals.

At the event, Lee displayed a piece burned on bird's eye maple wood titled "Taylor's Barn," which is off of River Road by Foster. Another piece was inspired by Larwood Bridge near Lacomb. In addition to the wood-burned originals, she has prints of her work on cards.

Cindy Cole of Lebanon sold her clay pieces during the show. In clay, Cole primarily depicts faces.

"Even the leftovers get used. I make small beads with them," Cole added.

She also displayed paintings at the show.

This year, an art walk was added to the annual event. Participating artists donated pieces that were displayed in downtown Lebanon businesses and art enthusiasts were given a map to find them.

In addition, a labyrinth walk was set up in the park.
