The following is a list of public meetings scheduled in the coming weeks. All meetings not labeled "executive session" are open to the public.
• The Linn County Board of Commissioners meets at 9:30 a.m. every Tuesday and Wednesday in the commissioners' meeting room on the second floor of the County Courthouse in Albany.
• The Lebanon Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. tonight, Aug. 17 at the Santiam Travel Station, 750 S. Third St. The agenda includes hearings on three annexations: Simonian on South Main Road, Phillips on River Drive and Mountain River Village on River Drive.
• The Linn-Benton Community College Board of Education will meet in regular session at 7:30 p.m. tonight, Aug. 17 in Room 218 of the Lebanon Center, 44 Industrial Way. Prior to the regular session, board members will meet for a 4:30 p.m. development retreat.
• The Lebanon City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 24 at the Santiam Travel Station, 750 S. Third St. The agenda includes public hearings on three annexations recommended for approval by the Planning Commission and a public hearing on a proposed Albany-Lebanon Sanitation rate increase for garbage collection.
