Chad Knight of Albany cools off at Waterloo Park on Aug. 15 along with Allie Denton, 8; Ashley Garrett, 15; Wyatt Ensley, 3; Hailee Huenergardt, 15; and Terry Thompson, all of Sweet Home. The group enjoyed the river's respite, and took time to catch crawdads and collect mussels. They weren't the only ones seeking relief from the heat last week when temperatures in Lebanon reached nearly 100 degrees.
