Berlin Road will be closed between Brewster Road and East Grant Street beginning at 8 a.m. on Monday, March 26 and continuing through Friday, March 30.

During this time, traffic will be detoured via Golden Valley Drive and Hidden Valley Road, a distance of about six miles.

The closure is connected to the Grant Street Bridge construction project. The rail crossing on Berlin Road will be rebuilt and sewer lines put under the crossing. Gates will be added at the crossing at a later date.

The sewer pipe will cross the South Santiam River under the new bridge, go under the rail line and stub out about 100 feet south of the tracks. The new pipe will make sanitary sewer service possible east of the bridge.
