Dorothy M. Tracy, known as Majel, died Dec. 12 at Oregon Health Sciences University, of injuries suffered in a Dec. 4 accident southeast of Lebanon.
The 82-year-old Lebanon resident was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier northbound on Sodaville Road about 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 4 when, according to Oregon State Police records, she went through the stop sign at Highway 20 and was T-boned by a vehicle traveling westbound on the highway.
She was transported by Lebanon ambulance to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital. Later in the day she was taken by Reach helicopter to OHSU. According to a representative of Lebanon's First Christian Church, where she was a member, her lung was punctured and her ribs, arm, back and neck were broken.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 1989 Chevrolet Blazer, was Shannon Lingenfelter, 41, of Lebanon. She suffered only minor injuries and was not transported to a hospital.
Tracy was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
