The Lebanon City Council approved two annexations at its Nov. 12 meeting.

One adds 8.95 acres at 33026 Tennessee Rd., on the west side of Tennessee Road just north of Wheeler Street. The property is owned by Donald and Linda Gerig. It includes a portion of Marks Slough and a 100-year flood plain along its southwest side. The parcel, which is about 600 feet south of the city's sanitary sewer treatment plant, will be assigned limited industrial zoning.

On Nov. 13, the Lebanon Planning Commission approved a request to partition the land into three parcels, one of 7.81 acres for future development, one of .37 acres for future development and one of .48 acres containing the single family home already there.

The second annexation involves 5.45 acres at the southeast corner of Hansard Avenue and Reeves Parkway. It is owned by David Benneth, William Rauch and Duane Stutzman. It will be assigned limited industrial. Structures on the property have been removed.

No development plan was submitted.
