The Boys & Girls Club of Lebanon has made a number of changes to the club staff.

Karen Chandler has been promoted to resource development director, replacing Anita Johnson, who is retiring.

Chandler has 15 years of experience with Les Schwab Corporate in Prineville. While with Les Schwab, she planned and organized large corporate events, published a monthly newsletter and was the personal assistant to Les Schwab. She was a corporate advertising purchaser managing a $1 million budget and working with media outlets.

Selena Carter has been selected to replace Chandler in the office manager position.

Carter worked as an Administrative Secretary at the Lebanon School District for two years. Prior to that she was for 11 years a human resources specialist at the Mill Casino in Coos Bay, where she received training and certification in management, supervision and leadership skills. Carter was a volunteer firefighter for seven years in Charleston, Oregon. She now lives in Sweet Home.

Josh Copeland has joined the staff as the assistant athletic director.

He has an extensive background working with youth programs. He worked for the Boys & Girls Club of Corvallis for three years before joining the staff at the Children's Farm Home as a cottage supervisor and team leader for the last seven years.

Copeland attended Western Oregon University, where he played football. He coached junior varsity football at Corvallis High School for six years.

The club is located at 305 S. Fifth Street in Lebanon. For more information, contact club at 258-7105.
