Three patients were transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital Friday morning after being involved in a motor vehicle accident on Highway 34 near Sunset Road.

State Police Lt. Mark Cotter said Daniel Dee Sturdevant, 42, of Albany, was eastbound in a Ford Aspire at 8:10 a.m. when he crossed the centerline and hit a westbound Ford Ranger pickup head-on, which in turn struck a Buick Skyhawk.

Sturdevant was cited for failure to drive within lane.

The Ford Ranger rolled and the driver, Ryan Keith Goss, 44, of Lebanon, had to be extricated by firefighters.

The driver of the Buick, which was behind the Ranger, was Vickie Ann Keith, 46, of Lebanon.

All three drivers were transported by medics to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital. All three were treated and released.

The road was blocked briefly until all vehicles were removed. Traffic was re-routed via Oak Street and Denny School Road.
