Emily Mary Pauline Fuller and Brandon Lee Benton of Killeen, Texas, were married Aug. 9, 2008, in a double-ring ceremony. The wedding was held at Rattlesnake Point, overlooking Lake Buchanan in Texas. A reception followed in the Live Oak Room at Canyon of the Eagles in Burnet, Texas. The ceremony was performed by Judge Ted Duffield.
The bride was given away by her parents, Fred and Michele Fuller of Belton, Texas. She graduated from Belton High School in 2005 and is a psychology major at Tarleton University in Texas. She works as a mental health associate at Cedar Crest Hospital in Belton.
The groom is the son of Gemma Benton and Bear Jackson of Susanville, Calif., and Bruce and Nancy Benton of Antelope, Calif. He graduated from Lebanon High School in 2002. He served six years in the U.S. Army, including two tours in Iraq. He is a Purple Heart recipient.
The maid of honor was Tasha Gonzales of Fremont, Calif. The bridesmaids were Nichole Ford of Temple, Texas, and Heather Boyd of Sacramento, Calif.
The best man was James Small of Roseville, Calif., formerly of Lebanon. Groomsmen were Eli Garcia of Lubbock, Texas, and Lyle Walker of Denver, Colo.
Ushers were the bride's brothers, Mark Fuller, Travis Fuller and Clayton Fuller all of Belton.
The bride wore a white strapless, satin gown with pick-up pleats and a train. She wore white cowboy boots.
The couple honeymooned in Fiji and will make their home in Killeen, Texas.
